Inspired by Korean public bath culture, the Seshin Sesh is a full-body exfoliation service performed in our warm hammam. This service honors centuries-old practices of cleansing as ceremony—where the body is renewed, not just scrubbed.
Our Seshin is deeply exfoliating, soul-softening, and humbling. It’s for anyone seeking release from the layers—seasonal, emotional, or physical. Great as a skin reset post-winter, or a glow boost in the heat of summer, the Seshin also supports digestive movement, lymphatic flow, and detoxification.

This elevated version of our signature body scrub includes a soothing scalp and head massage inspired by traditional Japanese head spa rituals. While not a full diagnostic or deep cleanse of the hair and scalp, this experience offers a calming hair wash paired with intentional massage to help ease tension, boost circulation, and leave you feeling deeply relaxed.
It’s the perfect add-on for those looking to unwind, reset, and enjoy a bite-sized touch of luxury.

Most guests choose to wear their smallest swimwear or undergarments. You’re also welcome to be nude. We provide modesty towels and always honor your personal comfort level.

Stay hydrated the day before and day of your appointment. Avoid shaving or waxing 24 hours prior. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to relax into the space and enjoy a complimentary tea or miso from Lolo’s.

We do not recommend the Seshin Sesh for guests who are pregnant, due to the intensity of the exfoliation and hot water exposure. Please explore our Nanay service if you’re looking for something nurturing and body-aware.
